Admittedly our flagship store, the ROSE BIKETOWN in Bocholt, might have frequently seemed like a construction site – with good reason:
Since September we have completely revamped our showpiece bicyle store in Bocholt. It has a retail area of 6 000 square metres in which a staff of 60 employees offer you a unique shopping experience around bicycles. The result is a bike store, which appeals to all the senses.
Strictly speaking, the revolution began already in the 70s, when we built up our 1.000 square metre store in the city of Bocholt. Its roots reach back to the year 1907. Now we have established a framework for individualised, client-centred bicycles.
In the 80s we attempted the configuration via the legendary ROSE catalogue with gigantic, Excel-like lists. In 2008, about 12 years after launching our first webshop, we completed the technological foundation which enabled the configuration and viewing of the configured dream bikes online. More…
